Wyoming Retirement Center – Basin, Wyoming
The Wyoming Retirement Center (WRC) provides skilled nursing care to residents with mental health, dementia and medical needs with the goal of stabilizing and helping residents reach their highest functional level. A high quality of life and care is the center’s goal for each resident. Twenty-four hour nursing; regularly scheduled physician visits; and available physical, occupational and speech therapy all help residents regain or maintain maximal independence and health recovery. As a nursing care facility, we provide long-term care to residents who have medical conditions that require 24-hour per day nursing services under professional direction. WRC is certified by Medicare and Wyoming Medicaid as a long-term, convalescent and respite care facility.
WRC is located in Basin, at the western base of the beautiful Big Horn Mountains. Basin is 30 miles north of Worland on US Highway 20 and just 10 miles south of Greybull. Community groups, churches and individual volunteers provide services to help residents. The 47-acre grounds at WRC offer a beautiful location near the Big Horn River.
Wyoming Department of Health: Wyoming State Hospital – Evanston, Wyoming
The Wyoming State Hospital (WSH) provides quality active treatment for a variety of mental disorders. The range of services we offer has earned the hospital the highest accreditation awarded by the Commission for the Association of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). This accreditation for our inpatient programs is widely recognized throughout Wyoming and the nation. WSH provides adult, geriatric and forensic psychiatric services to residents of the State of Wyoming.

Wyoming Life Resource Center – Lander, Wyoming
The Wyoming Life Resource Center (WLRC) is a residential community with therapeutic and medical support services for adults located in Lander. WLRC provides the least restrictive, most appropriate, most integrated environment possible with informed choice. WLRC provides 24-hour inpatient and outpatient care, 365 days a year for adults who have intellectual disabilities, who have acquired brain injuries and for those who require observation or significant medical care.
